Repeated checks at fuel tradesmen

According to the information stated on the website www.mfcr.cz , the tax and custom administration has checked repeatedly the fuel tradesmen.
This control was focused on possible tax evasions when importing fuel from another EU member states. Within the control action which was held on 26th August 2011 tens of cisterns were documented, whereas the content of 11 cisterns was executorly confiscated. The reason was a possible risk of non-levying of the value added tax.
This second common action of the Czech tax and custom administration where 60 controllers participated, was performed in the vicinity of five former border crossings – Mikulov, Halámky, Dolní Dvořiště, Rozvadov and Folmava.
